There are two specific reasons to execute a Mystery Shop either in person or by telephone.

One, performance management of the selling personnel within an operating home.

Two, provide rich information for Developers and Owners to guide and support decisions on new projects including suite-style and size, amenities, services and market price.

Senior Living Pro uses distinct and exceptional survey tools to evaluate and present information that is gathered by real shoppers. We use non-industry shoppers whose profile matches that of a Prospective Resident’s family member to Mystery Shop a community and report with an unbiased and completely personal voice.

Your data is held secure online with multiple variations of report exporting possibilities. Included in all reports is a reputation score and additional consumer indexing details.

Community Review

Sales Performance Mystery Shop - This survey is comprised of 120+ questions designed to assess the skills and knowledge of the sales professional and Revenue Team at a senior living residence.

The questions within the survey are divided by categories, and sections:

  • Section 1: Reception, Telephone Performance, First Impression
  • Section 2: Sales Counsellor Inquiry Call
  • Section 3: Moment of Arrival, Exterior of Building
  • Section 4: Sales Counsellor Discovery Interview Performance
  • Section 5: Sales Counsellor Tour Performance
  • Section 6: Interior of Building
  • Section 7: Sales Counsellor Closing the Sale

Select from Independent Supportive Living, Assisted Living or Memory Care Service Level surveys all written specifically to report on the Senior Living industry using Senior Living Sales Pro's proprietary playbooks.

Impression Score questions require narrative response and scoring that seeks to report the shopper’s impression and assessment of quality.

Attention Areas draw out the lowest scoring areas that require attention from the team and get them rolling immediately on areas for improvement.

Telephone calls are recorded and uploaded into the Media Explorer and images creating exceptional learning and coaching opportunities.

Site specific personnel target is determined prior to the shop and three attempts are made to reach this person to secure a tour date and if unsuccessful a drop in will be executed.

The in person tour is anticipated to be 60-minutes and the shopper will wait for 5 days post tour date to record and upload all follow-up activities that are executed.

Competitor Review

When reviewing for the purpose of establishing market and competitive intelligence, Senior Living Pro seeks to review five of the most competitive residences within the primary market area of the development project.

Most competition can be established through proximity, service similarity, price point, or otherwise directed by the Developer.

This survey is comprised of 25 specific questions and multiple service matrix charts that display the pricing and service inclusions for a competitor.

This survey is specifically designed to gather and report competitor price and service level data and not to evaluate the human resources and presentation performance.

No specific shopper is identified for these shops and the shoppers do not have to meet all identified demographics to complete the survey.
